Peppermint plant is native to Europe but is now cultivated in many parts of the world. It grows in the traditional 'Mint Regions' of India, which are the north and northwest areas of the country.
It has been used for centuries for its revitalizing properties, due to its menthol content. This scent is invigorating to the senses and helps promote energy and alertness.

Usage & Benefit : Peppermint oil stimulates tired brain, help in respiratory system, sinus, snoring, nausea, headaches, sore throats, muscle aches, insect bites, toothaches, sweetens the breath. Perfect to take along anywhere, or to keep in the medicine chest.
Peppermint has been used in massage oil and can be diluted in a carrier oil and applied to the temples and back of the neck when having head and neck tension.
Also helps to stimulate hair growth and soothe itchy scalp.
Blends well with : Rosemary, Bergamot, Lavender, Eucalyptus,
Tea Tree, Lemon and Geranium essential oils.
Note :
Do not use peppermint essential oil on children under 3 years old.
For children between 3 to 6 years old:
Water diffuser (2 to 3 drops per 100ml)
Nebuliser diffuser (15 sec for 1/2/3 hour)
For topical use (Dilute pure essential oils with a carrier oil such as Grapeseed oil/jojoba oil/fractionated coconut oil,etc) it is important to follow these dilution guidelines for :
- 3 - 6 years old : 0.5% to 1%
- 6 - 15 years old : 1% - 2%
- Over 15 years : 2% - 3%
