Rosemary is originally from Asia, but now cultivated in Mediterranean countries, in particular Spain, Morocco and more in Tunisia. It is very popular in the Mediterranean region as a culinary herb. Besides its culinary uses, rosemary oil is one of the most popular essential oils for its wide range of health benefits. Most commonly well known to stimulate hair growth, boost mental activity, relieve respiratory problems and reduce pain.

Aromatic Scent :  Evergreen Shrub, Floral Minty, and Herbaceous.

 

Usage & Benefit : May improve memory, boost immunity, support respiratory system, snoring, stimulate hair growth, treat dandruff, relieve fatigue, pain & insect bites.

(This should be avoided if there is a history of epilepsy.)

 

Blends well with : Blends well with Lavender, Clary sage, Geranium, Bergamot, Tea Tree, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, Orange, Cedarwood Peppermint, Lemon, Frankincense essential oil.

 

Note : 

Do not use rosemary essential oil on children under 6 years old.

 

For children between 6 - 12 years old :

Water diffuser (3 to 4 drops per 100ml)

Nebuliser diffuser (15 sec for 1/2/3 hour)

Besides stimulating hair growth, rosemary essential oil it also may help to prevent premature graying and dandruff. (help dry or itchy scalp.)

 

Mix it into your shampoo

This can also apply to conditioners, lotions, or creams.

Play it safe and don’t add too much.

Use your hair product like usual.

For the 1st week can add 1 drop, increase to 2 drops on the 2nd week,

if everything is ok on 3 - 4weeks can increase to 3 drops directly to any hair product when you apply a dollop of it on your palm before use.

 

For topical use

(Dilute pure essential oils with a carrier oil such as Grapeseed oil/jojoba oil/fractionated coconut oil,etc) it is important to follow these dilution guidelines for : 

 

  • 6 - 12 years old : 1.5% - 2%
  • 12 - 15 years old : 2% 
  • Over 15 years : 2% - 3%

How to Massage it directly into your scalp

This step is similar to topical use method, mixed Rosemary Pure Essential Oil with carrier oil (E.g: jojoba oil or coconut oil which is better for hair).

 

For hair can dilute 3% - 5%.
For a start, please dilute it with 3%, subsequently increase 1% every 1-2weeks, capped at 5%. (Refer to dilution chart at FAQ page)

 

Shake it well before used.

 

After mixing it well, take about 5 drops to massage evenly into the scalp after bath or shower. You can choose to rinse out the oil afterward (optional) — if you do rinse off, let the oil sit on your scalp for at least 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing it off.
