Sweet Orange tree is a member of the Rutaceae family, also known as the rue or citrus family most often because the citrus genus hold the highest economic value of the Rutaceae family which hosts a number of trees and shrubs including oranges, lemons, limes and grapefruits. It is mostly produced in Brazil, Italy, and USA.
Brazil has the largest production of fresh oranges and also it processes more orange than any other country making it the largest producer of orange oil in the world.

Usage & Benefit : It is most commonly known for its uplifting and energizing scent. Helps to reduce sluggishness, relieve anxiety, reduce pain, aid digestion, repel ants, treat acne, natural household cleaner, dandruff and scalp problem.
Blends well with : Eucalyptus, Lemon, Bergamot, Clary Sage, Ginger, Patchouli, Petitgrain, Ylang ylang, Lavender, Geranium, Frankincense, and Cinnamon essential oil.
Note :
Do not use Sweet orange essential oil on infant under 6 months old.
For children under 2 years old :
Water diffuser (1 to 2 drops per 100ml)
Nebuliser diffuser (15 sec for 1/2/3 hour)
For topical use (Dilute pure essential oils with a carrier oil such as Grapeseed oil/jojoba oil/fractionated coconut oil,etc) it is important to follow these dilution guidelines for :
- 6 - 24 months : 0.25% - 0.5%
- 2 - 6 years old : 1% - 2%
- 6 - 15 years old : 1.5% - 2%
- Over 15 years : 2% - 3%
